Samhain Project
This is the finished garment as part of a collaboration project with Lumen street theatre as part of the Samhain festival based in Limerick City.
The concept was developed from the poem 'thady and the bishops lady' which talks about the Bishops bride.

Remake Redesign
My piece for the knitting and stitching show displayed in RDS Dublin.
I up-cycled a blue jumper that i got in the charity shop, by opening up the seams at the arms and knitting organic pieces of knitwear and adding embroidery through leaf motifs along with attaching mounds of loops to the bottom of the garment i was able to create a piece that represented growth with movement.

This is a Digital illustration collection based on looking at the trends from Spring/Summer 2019.

Analysing trends during this time there was a lot of crochet and knitwear creating this very bohemian theme happening.

Irish Textile X Dries Van Noten Project
The Irish textiles X Dries Van Noten project was about looking at the historic way textiles were made in Ireland, I looked at these elements through the process of embroidery, patchwork, weaving, knitwear and crochet.
Also looking at the analysis of the way Noten works through his collection and his own textile techniques.
Combing these textile techniques and the design approach of Noten I created a selection of textiles as well as a illustrated 6 piece collection.
